Google Maps To Drop Cape Cod
QuasiModo Media just got the inside scoop on a new Google project. In a new quest to modernize the world's map information Google is streamlining America's coastline. They want to get rid of that "jaggy old victorian look" and bring in a new, hip, streamlined coast. One of the first places to go is what Google Map insiders jokingly call "that northeast hanging chad" -Cape Cod.
"America is loosing interest in Cape Cod anyway."(see chart above) said another Google Mapper we talked to. "We did a keyword search on Google Trends and we discovered people are just not searching for Cape Cod like they used to. They are tired of those haphazard white sandy beaches and tacky curly-cue inlets and bays. They want modern, planned coastlines like Dubia."
